The highlight of my Marathon of Summer Events is the visit with my Dad's family in
Los Angeles. I feel very special and proud to be a part of this family. Thank you to my
dearest Daddy for his unending and unconditional love for me. I love you my dearest
Daddy. You are the best Daddy in the whole-wide world !
Another big thing about my summer is my attachment to Astronomy which prompted my
Dad to purchase me an annual Membership at the Bishop Museum. As a member, I
am invited to an exclusive member preview to celebrate the Grand Unveiling of Bishop
Museum's newly restored Hawaiian Hall in August 7, 2009 from 7:00-9:00PM. I cannot
wait to share this experience to all of you.
Last July 29th my parents took me again to the Bishop Museum. The "Meet Me at the
Hot Spot - Lava Melting Demo" at the Mamiya Science Adventure Center is simply
incredible! Of course, the Tonight Sky Show is always superb. The Planetarium was
closed for renovation so we got inside a huge balloon called a Starlab and it was a very
fantastic experience. I was told that Medusa will soon be showing up in the sky and
Orion the Hunter will soon be descending. If you follow the constellation closely at the
summer time, you will see a good view of the Milky Way....and if you look closely, you
might see a picture of me in the sky. How about that? That would be way too cool.
Nevertheless, I am very excited to share the news that I am accepted at Drill Team
Hawaii. Thanks to all your prayers & moral support. Last August 28, 2009, I was
accepted at Ballet Hawaii so my Drill Team Hawaii experience ended last August 29,
2009 (Saturday).
